A Love Affair with Italy ❣️
Soul-stirring beauty, timeless romance
There’s something about Italy that seeps into your soul… The scent of espresso drifting through narrow cobblestone streets. The slow dinners under golden skies. The way strangers become friends over a glass of wine.
I planned my summer getaway around a wedding set for July 16, and I’m so grateful for what unfolded. I’m excited to share about two unforgettable weeks of beauty, connection, and heart-filling joy…
A celebration of love that lit up the sky 💥
We began in Calabria, where my grandmother was born. Walking through Reggio, I felt her presence in the warm sun and salt air. We visited old friends, soaked in the rhythm of southern Italy, and celebrated life in the best way I know how: with food, family, and music.
Next, I had the pleasure of being part of an extraordinary celebration of love between Francesco Ceraso and his stunning bride, Raluca. The wedding itself was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced!
From 2:00pm to 2:00am, the day pulsed with magic: a symphony of singers, dancers, jazz musicians, and a violinist whose notes seemed to float above the cliffs. Gourmet courses arrived one after another, each more delicious than the last.
The ceremony concluded as the clock struck 2am, and fireworks burst above us like a blessing. It was romantic, extravagant, joyful, and deeply personal… everything a wedding should be.
It’s been an honor to witness such radiant love ♥️
A journey through Italy’s rich landscapes
From the southern coast of Tropea, Scilla, Vibo Valentia, and Pizzo, to the postcard-perfect northern Stresa, the Borromeo Islands, Lake Como, Bergamo, every town held something special.
We romanticized every moment. Though we strolled and sipped and savored each stop, we still found found time for a quick hop to Lugano, Switzerland and Frankfurt, Germany.
Traveling with my family and my best friend, Andrew, made it all the more meaningful (and hilarious, of course). If you know, you know ;)
Joy lingers, long after the plane lands…
As a true Sagittarius, wandering is my way of reconnecting—with the world, and with myself. Every trip is a reminder that life is meant to be lived fully, joyfully, in beautiful communion with others.
That being said, I’m back in the States. Fall and winter weekend mentorship retreats are now open for booking!
Whether you're craving connection, clarity, or just a little magic in the form of a weekend getaway, one-on-one mentorship is a soul-nourishing experience. It’s the perfect way to reawaken your sense of self-love, purpose, and direction as we move into the later part of the year.
See you soon…. No passport required (unless you’re outside the U.S., then, of course, you’d need your passport). Happy to work with international clients, too!
Savor the summer,
♡ Lisa
