May is for making memories, and exploring new beginnings. My May schedule booked up quickly, with invitations to extraordinary events in Miami from my beautiful friend, Virgilia, aka VV. VV invited me for an extended stay at her home in Miami, and we set out on the town… It was an incredible time of inspiration and expansion 🌟 ↓ a few highlights below ↓

Creativity and elegance abound 🌸Our first outing together was at The Moore Miami, a local landmark in the heart of the Miami Design District. Originally designed in 1922, renovations and restorations took place in the late 1990s. More than a private club, The Moore is host to the latest exhibition from artist Super Buddha. Called “THE CHERRY BLOSSOM EXPERIENCE,” the transformative and immersive show was vibrant and unique. Super Buddha is “the moment.” I loved meeting and discussing business with him, VV, and his management team. We exchanged contact info, and I was invited to his studio. I look forward to seeing where the magic is made! 🎨

VV and I had some fun in The Moore’s photo booth, capturing the memory together. Afterwards, we had dinner at Elastika, a contemporary restaurant in The Moore Building… Elastika is an installation that spans the four-story atrium, imagined by Pritzker Prize-Winning architect, artist, and designer Zaha Hadid in 2005. The Bay Leaf Panna Cotta dessert with honey-lavender ice cream and oranges was heavenly! 🍯

A fantastic activation, with a tantalizing spread 🫒On Friday, May 9, VV hosted her first Miami brand activation at Santorini’s by Georgios, a Greek Restaurant in South Beach. It was the perfect venue for her client, Tony Kasandrinos, Founder of Kasandrinos Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The food was scrumptious, made even more exquisite by the most delicate, flavorful olive oil. The networking was a beautiful mix and mingle, and the swag bag was impressive.

I met so many interesting, creative personalities, and explored business synergies with a few fabulous ladies… and we’re already following up with each other! The finale was a surprise art reveal by Super Buddha, and it was enchanting... Honestly, I haven’t been to an event that phenomenal in quite some time. Brava, VV! As her mentor, I can say: I’m so proud of VV, and I’m thrilled by her work and accomplishments with her company, VV Global Partners. It’s an honor to watch her unite incredible people in art, business, and culinary excellence!

A luxurious VIP+VR tourAfter the evening festivities, we were invited on a VIP tour of the Iconic 888 Brickell Avenue – Dolce & Gabbana Residences. This will be America’s first Dolce and Gabbana Residences. It’s being designed in the legacy of Italian craftsmanship. The building is all about grandiosity; it will tower above all the buildings in Miami! |

“They’ve blended both classic and contemporary, to create a whole new way of living.”The immersive, museum-like sales gallery is anchored by a nine-foot model of the tower, complemented with a VR experience for exploring the residences. While in Miami, VV turned me on to her podcast studio, Content HQ, to record The Writing of the Book podcast for our May episode. We recorded a special, in-person interview with our guest, Tony Kasandrinos. As VV’s client, it was my pleasure to have Tony educate the community about the benefits of olive oil and his complimentary products.
